I bring you:

  • Coaching experience: I have a proven track record of coaching individuals to build meaningful, prosperous careers in the creative services industry.

  • Expert coaching knowledge: I use counseling and coaching approaches and tools, honed through a Master's in Counseling from the University of Oregon.

  • Understanding how to address doubts and fears: I use the tools of Internal Family Systems (IFS) to understand and resolve the parts of you that impede your creativity.

  • Walking the walk: I am a multi-media artist, participating in Astoria Visual Arts and sell art cards at Cambium Gallery. As a writer, I participate in Astoria’s Indescribable Scribes, Ric’s Open Mic and Women Who Write to Heal, as well as publishing poetry in literary journals.

How it works:

  • The Outside Job: First, we define your goals to create a personalized plan for your schedule. We'll set concrete, achievable goals like "paint five portraits" or "submit to three journals," We’ll break them down into small, manageable steps. I'll be your partner in accountability, so you’ll stay on track.

  • The Inside Job: We’ll tap into your compassion and curiosity to explore what motivates you to create. Using the tools of Internal Family Systems, I’ll guide you to understand what blocks your progress — like your Inner Perfectionist or Procrastinator. You can gently invite them to step aside so your creativity can thrive.

  • Individual Coaching: We’ll balance meeting weekly in person (if you are in Astoria) zoom sessions, emails and text to meet your needs. Sliding Scale for others $150 - $225 per month.

  • Support Hub: (Up to six participants). Two meetings per month in Astoria or by Zoom. One individual counseling session to overcome creative blocks. Free for AVA members, Writers Guild members, and past and current students from The Attic. $75 for others.
